Techy Rides are organized group rides that have a focus on hitting available TTFs during the ride, and will typically cover part or all of a particular trail system while stopping to session certain TTFs. Techy Rides are open to all levels of riders. Since the pace is always casual, the group can stay together as they move from feature to feature.
Technical Support Sessions are organized group rides that focus on a specific section of trail, specific TTFs, or a specific skill. During these rides, advanced riders will typically assist other riders in their attempts to ride an obstacle that they have yet to clear, or work on a skill they have not yet fully developed. Technical Support Sessions are open to all levels of riders. We all ride together and learn from each other.
Techy-las are the ladies who love to ride techy (Techy Ladies).
Techy-La Sessions are session rides with the specific focus of helping female riders practice the TTFs and skills they find most challenging. During these rides, the ladies are in charge and male riders are welcome to attend by invite-only from a female participant, and guys may ride with the group in a supportive role only.
Guys will typically be supportive by giving advice (only) when asked, spotting a female rider as they attempt an obstacle or skill, and/or taking photos and video of the attempts as the ladies session.
The Techy Scavenger hunt is a fun day of riding designed to add a variation to a normal techy ride. Teams of 4 ride a trail system taking specific selfies/usies/videos at specific landmarks, with specific objects, or performing specific actions in order to complete a scavenger hunt list.
Post-ride, we meet up and share photos/videos at an afterparty to see who wins.
